Information Updated 9/29/Y2K OK, so I don’t really have much imagination for a story idea, but this was the best I could think of. More (un-updated) information at http://members.xoom.com/darkpkmorph/ The dimension of Shara, history Shara dimension was originally created by the god of darkness Makurayami Kuromadoushi for his own amusement. He designed it with his computer and constantly tried to keep himself busy with it, but one day, it started to act on its own. He lost interest shortly after that. After that, people were accidentally morphed and sent to the dimension (earlier named Koronai) and the story developed even more. Weird stuff began happening to the file that Makurayami (or Darkness of the New Specie, as he likes to call himself) saved his dimension in. Strangely enough, Light and Dark matter began forming from stray bits of data on his computer, and computer viruses created arch-enemies for the heroes of the dimension to fight against. Eventually, Darkness lost all control of the dimension except for creating new things, but not modifying old things or deleting created things. As a result, the dimension is this… The dimension of Shara, structure The dimension (Shara) itself, due to creation from a computer file, is very flexible. The dimension itself can be considered a cartoon if one thinks hard enough about it, but if it is real life, the dimension can become real (like in the Matrix). It was built somewhat similar to the real Pokémon dimension, only the difference is the planet of the Furries and there are different things that can happen. In the dimension, technology and magic work in cooperation, not against each other, so there are magic tools and tools that can make one use magic. However, some people prefer to use pure magic or pure technology, depending on their tastes. The magic itself is created by fourteen different gods, one for each separate magic type. The strange thing about this dimension is that the effort put into casting a spell can vary depending on how much mana you sacrifice for it. You can cast a spell with no effort at all for 5 times the MP, but it takes twice the amount of strength if you choose to cast it for a regular amount of MP. The population is usually constant in the dimension. Here’s the statistics for the dimensional makeup of the population. Furries- 60% Pokémorphs- 20% Regular Pokémon/animals- 15% Humans- 5% Fortunately, overpopulation isn’t much of a problem right now. With the technology of the year 3008, everyone can live in peace without having to stand on others’ heads. The year 3008 (On Earth) History has progressed as planned up to the year 2005… but then World War 3 broke out. A new technology, thought to destroy the other side in a flash, was immediately launched. Something happened to it and its contents were absorbed into the atmosphere. This made a lot of people able to use magic. Then the killing resumed, but after a week they decided it was pointless to fight anymore. The war ceased and mankind entered a lifetime of peace. However, there were still needs for law enforcement. The special pizza parlor of a group called the Ninja Legend Pocket Monsters is a training facility for them to build up their skills, as well as get jobs. Several members of the Time Police are stationed there as well, ready to tackle any interdimensional criminals there are. The pizza parlor is located in Tokyo, Japan. (On the Planet of the Furries) The Planet of the Furries is called ‘Taire’. As of now, they are currently at war with the planet of the Humans. Unfortunately, the war has been going on for the last three years and neither side has budged an inch. But still, they’re making progress. Some of their technology is better than Earth’s. Dark/Light matter Both ‘Matter’ things are elements with magical properties. Each named after a person who has lived in the dimension, they have many uses if used correctly. However, if used incorrectly, the user will be frozen in it for eternity. Both can be used as armor, weapons, talismans, relics, and so on. They don’t really serve any purpose to Darkness, but they still can come in handy if used correctly. Shinma ‘Shinma’ is Japanese for God/Demon or God-beast. A lot of these tend to escape from the Caretaker of Shinma’s grasp, namely Miyuki Shinsamakami, and they run around the dimension like wild beasts (or demons in this case). Some, however, are civilized. Most of them act evil toward society and cause mischief. Others just do stuff because they are ordered to. Shinma can be summoned and tamed by Callers. However, the Shinma will usually want to test the person who wants to Call him/her to see if he/she is worthy. Some Shinma are tame, others are not. A Shinma has two names: the one that it’s commonly known as, and another that is its true name. Usually saying the name will divert its full attention toward the person who said it, but it also enables the Shinma to be returned to the realm of Shinma, which is something they don’t want. For convenience, the Shinma who escape can be transformed into CD-ROM related items and returned to the realm of Shinma shortly after. (The concept is like capturing Pokémon, you need to weaken it, then capture it.) Some organizations Ninja Legend Pizza Parlor Owner: Sophia Raihana This may look like a pizza parlor from the outside, but on the inside, it’s a pizza parlor. Underneath it is a training facility for the Time Police, where some Time Police officers train to be better officers. But they do serve very good pizza. The employees usually have to have really powerful magic or fighting skills, and thus, all the employees are Time Police officers or good fighters/magicians. In the year 3008, they are the only ones with access to time/dimension travel and they tend to help the Time Police. Magic Beauty World Owner: Miyuki Shinsamakami This store is a store that specializes in magic beauty products. The owner herself (Miyu) is a sorceress and devises the recipes for the neat stuff they sell there at an extremely low cost as well. Although they sell a lot of beauty products, they also sell a lot of lingerie. Note I said “magic” beauty products, like hair- growing shampoo. (That explains Miyu’s insane hair, by the way.)
