Hi this is Neurodyne. I wrote this little FAQ because
there has been an increasing number of folks asking me 
to do comissions and stuff.  I hope this will answer most
of your questions.  ^_^  


01. Are you doing comissions ?
---------------------------
Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to do commissions.
I'm working as a professional illustrator, and I barely
have enough time to  do my own artwork for this archive.
However, if I come across an interesting archive or website,
then it might happen that I send a gift artwork to the creator.


02. How about Art Trades ?
--------------------

Sometimes.  If I like the style of a particular artist or
a certain charecter, I'll do art-trades.  The only problem
is time (as always...sigh..) See paragraph 01 for details
on this matter.


03. Do you have any influences ?
----------------------------
My influences come from different areas of art. My most 
favourite artists are: Masamune Shirow, Syd Mead, H.R. Giger,
Frank Frazetta and  Roger Dean. There are numerous other
artists  which are great as well, but these guys are simply
the best.   ^_^ 


04.  How do you create your artwork ? 
-----------------------------------

Like most artists here I scan my line art and color it
with Photoshop . I'm currently using an Wacom A6 Tablet,
which is the best way to colorize. It feels more natural
to color your work with the wacom pen. 

Photoshop is really an allround tool for creating interesting
effects like highlights or glowing surfaces.  Its also a good 
idea to use many Layers in Photoshop. This Feature makes it
easier to  remove certain parts of the image. 

For example, if you want to see if your character looks better 
with a striped pattern, simply create a new layer and do some 
experiments. You can also reduce the opacity to make the pattern 
blend in more smoothly. 

Feel free to experiment with the Program, there are numerous
ways to achieve an interesting result. After a while you
create your own set of tricks and special workarounds.
