Fall’s Paintbrush All across New England, the annual rite of the various leaves changing their colors. The various woods and meadows have started to become blanketed in color. Sitting under a large elm tree, overlooking a lush meadow, a tall golden figure could be seen. Dressed in a light green oriental style blouse, a dark green mini-skirt and having her dragon like feet and human like golden scalled arms and ankles accented by jewlry, Yang Li gazed out at the colors. Ever since she arrived in America, the golden dragoness morph had wanted to see a New England fall. On the ground next to her was the large steel string acoustic guitar. The dragoness had sent her guitar tracks off to Cassie in NYC a few weeks ago. The Rock Vixen had pulled her band off from their world tour to finish mixing the next album that would be released in the next few months if all went well. Reaching into a small pocket of her blouse, Yang Li pulled out her long cigarette holder and began to assemble it. “You might want to reconsider doing that. You might drop an ash and set those leaves on fire.” Turning her long, snake-like head around in such a way that her torso remained immobile, Yang Li saw a silver black vixen –morph with very long, full white head hair and dressed in a thigh slitted, black leather dress that ended just over her human like knees. The dress was sleeveless and low-cut in the front, showing a silver fox-head pendant bisecting two white fur covered human like breasts. Upon her humanlike shapely legs, the siverblack vixen wore thigh high leather boots and sported opera length black leather gloves on her human arms. Narrowing her repltilian like golden slited eyes,Yang Li replied “Do I know you?” “My name is Shiva, I am Cassie’s Security Chief. I thought I had better introduce myself to you, since you will also be under my protection as well at some point.” The dragoness nodded her snake like head, causing her narrow mane of golden head hair to “wave” in the air. “Yes. You are Dominic’s friend. And you are his kind as well, if I recall. My brother told me about you.” As she stood in front of the sitting dragoness, the silverblack vixen looked a bit surprised at how well informed Yang Li was about her. “However, I assure you. I do not need your protection. If you have any knowledge of my brother and his dealings, then you should not have been concerned,” The dragoness said. “It appears that I did not,” Shiva replied. “That’s okay. I heard that you had some “problems” recently. I hope that they are behind you,” Yang Li asked with a smile appearing in her dragonlike face accented by small whiffs of smoke coming from her nostrils. Staring for a moment at Yang Li, Shiva calmly reached down and unzipped her black leather boots. Slipping them off and standing in her human like black furred bare feet, the silver black vixen sat down next to the dragoness. Leaning over and gesturing to the dragoness to maneuver her head close to the vixen’s muzzle, Yang Li had a slight puzzled look on her face. Nevertheless, the dragoness morph complied. When she was close,Shiva said quietly, “If you EVER try to mock me again,I will not only kill you but take all of your blood.” Yang Li replied with a toothfilled grin, “Since we both know that is an empty threat, I am not afraid. However, I am pleased that you passed my test. I had to see if their was any part of your “spirit” left. I know what you have been through. I had to make sure that you were still worthy of any trust I might place in you.” With that, the dragoness morph moved her head and torso away from Shiva and leaning against the large oak tree’s trunk, strretched out her long human like scaled legs and thighs. Yang Li then resumed her gaze across the meadow. Copying her movements, Shiva also sat down and leaned against the oak next to the dragoness and streached her shapely human-like black furred, human-like legs and feet across the meadow. “I am still amazed at the beauty of all the trees. Not like in my native China at all.” Yang Li commented as her dragon like tail began to wiggle slightly, causing the diamond tip on it’s end to shake slightly. “I too love to see them. It makes me feel a sense of wonder,” Shiva replied as her own fox-like black furred tail began to wiggle and it’s white tip shake. The dragoness and the silverblack then turned and looked into each others eyes. “I could use a close friend. Someone I could talk to. Although Cassie and the others try, I’m still an outsider to them,” Yang Li said with a smile on her face. “I have been with them for quite a while, but I’m still an outsider. Moreso after...what has happened. I would like to be your friend. Very much so,” Shiva said as she gazed to those deeply golden eyes. Leaning close, Yang Li reached down and kissed the Silverblack on the muzzle and said “Then, let’s be friends.” Slowly pulling away, Shiva then leaned next to the dragoness and sighed as she closed her eyes. Looking down from a branch above, a small squirrel looking for an acorn saw the the right dragoness’es reptian bare foot being caressed by the left human-like black furred bare foot of the silverblack vixen in a loving manner. However, since the only thing that mattered to the squirrel was his dinner, he promptly ignored the the specticle before him, took his acorn and went into the hole in the trunk that was his home.
