The Darkened Light of Your Eyes “Leave her alone!” a voice called out being silenced by a swift punch with clawed knuckles. The limp form rolled across the grass three times and came to a halt. The mewtwo anthro blinked heavily, hearing the screams of his wife and children as knives were brought up to their throat by a gang of punk Gengars calling themselves the “Dark Twisters.” He jumped up and brought his fist to the side of the leaders head, cracking the skull open and shattering every bone the man had as he collided with the tree. The rest of the gang jumped him, in a fury of knifes and punches, sending him back to the ground bleeding and hardly breathing. “No-” the smaller pinkish mewtwo anthro cried out as a knife pierced through her throat. Three kits hiding behind a tree, the children shaking and hiding as their mothers blood gushed from her throat. “NOOOOOO!” Dark Storm, the now enraged father clenched his fist as hot tears ran down his face. “DAMN YOU ALL!” He jumped, catching the gang off guard. It was only a few seconds, but that was all he needed. The dust settled and he closed his eyes looking around, the assortment of 19 gang members pierced through trees, or stones. All dead, all bloody. He ran back and held Hurricane close to him. He screamed again and held her lifeless body, nothing else to do but mourn. Looking around he saw his kits in a large pool of blood. He winced and clenched his teeth, thinking his body would surely shatter at such pain. He got up, and formed an orb in his palm, shooting open a grave site where he placed his kits and wife. He covered it back up with dirt, turning and running to release all his anger. He ran full speed and non stop, for hours until collapsing under a pine tree, blood covering his tattered black shirt and black jeans. ************************************************************************ “Is he okay...?” Jesse whimpered, purple ears and tail stretching out behind her. She was an Espeon anthro, Saber was a bluish ninetales form, only one long fox tail and two perked up blue ears. Her skin was the same blue, as Jesse’s was the same lavender. India blinked her blue eyes, leaning down and taking his wrist into her hand. She felt for a pulse, her black fingers caressing Dark Storms messed up long black hair. Her purple ears twitched, as tail flicked slightly, a silver orb emitting from the tip, as a strand of silver hair fell into her face covering her bright blue eyes. “He’s...just banged up.” She sat down by him, the folds of her red velvet dress intricately forming a gorgeous design. Saber sighed and sat down on the other side of him, her tail flicking slightly. “Man....what about his family...?” Saber asked slightly as she began to patch up his wounds. “Ergh...We saw them....the grave surrounded by all the blood, the mewtwo bodies strewn about? Grave robbers remember...?” Jesse spoke up, her blue velvet dress shining in the dim light. “My Dark Storm...” India whispered and stroked his hair absentmindedly. “It’s bad enough we’ve been here for the last few years without finding anyone...and now we find one...but....” Saber shut herself up, Victoria sitting beside her. “Rai...” she sighed. Her master patting her reassuringly on the head. Jesse’s ears perked up as she tapped India’s shoulder. Her mewlike ears perked up as well. “Some one is coming...” Jesse took off into the bushes, Mally close behind. The other two nodded and followed. *********************************************************************** “Wake up my sweet warrior...” India’s voice pierced through Dark Storms mind. He looked up noticing two bright orange eyes, belonging to a dark face. A Pikachu staring down at him also. He jumped up and fell, glancing at his ragged clothes and patched up wounds, something the girls did when he was unconscious. “Who the hell are you!?” he screamed. “Flare...” the male Typhlosion paced and looked at his comrade. “Flare...?” the mewtwo snatched at Flares neck, scaring him slightly but grasping onto the crystal. He looked around his neck and took out his own. Both friends hugged one another, happy to be reunited. “Hey Zap...” Both Mewtwo and Pikachu hugged. “Where’s the others...” Flare blinked as Dark Storm fell to his knees. The young man crouched down quickly, to be face to face with his friend. “They...got murdered before my eyes...I let them die...Flare...I am worthless..” he choked out between tears. “Never....” Flare helped his friend up. He let his friend lean on him for support, and helped the injured Mewtwo down the path to the nearest town. The Pikachu’s ears darted up, as she raced in the direction of the three girls. The Pikachu’s breath came in ragged gasps as she struggled through the foliage. Such a wound to her paw allowed infection to overcome her system, making her sick and weak. She kept running, following the scent of her owner whom she hasn’t seen in years. She fell to the ground, rolling once in the heavy mud. Rain began to pour through the thickened forest, soaking her and the ground. With clenched eyes the small being alone in the woods, cried. “Zap..?” A soft voice snapped into her mind. She tried to get up but fell back. “Oh no...what happened to her!?” Saber dashed up beside the Pikachu, the only thing the small yellow animal could see was the bottom of different colored velvet dresses and boots. “Dunno...” India picked up the small being with gentle hands and caressed the fluff on her head. Pika ZAPs eyes opened to see her trainer...in a different form but she knew the heart and spirit was the same. She reached out with tiny paws, being given a hug in return. A tearing sound echoed through the woods, as she kneeled, tearing the bottom off her dress. She carefully took the old bandage off Zap’s paw and cleaned out the wound with fresh water, wincing at the look and seriousness of it. She took a berry and squeezed the juice onto the infectious wound. Zap pulled back, and was comforted by Saber’s and Jesse’s hands as they pet her. The juice would sting more than salt being scrubbed on a large body wound with salty sandpaper in a pool of rubbing alcohol. Her cheeks sparked in defense. “No...Zap I know it stings...but this is for the best.” the sparks stopped as the soft velvet was tied firmly around her paw. “Indi...the prince won’t like this...you ripped your dress!” Jesse stood, her darkened hair falling into her face as it was being soaked by the new rain. India wrapped the other torn piece of her dress around the creature and held her close to her chest. Digging a few cloth coats out of her bag, Saber Sprite passed them around. They had the royal embellishment on them. Each put one on, and India put Pika ZAP half under her coat, to protect her from the rain. “Jesse...I don’t care. I’ve been looking for my pokemon all these years...and I haven’t found them...” she closed her eyes a painful experience causing her eyes to tear up. “Indi...I know....I haven’t found mine...let’s get back to the castle..Vinson will be steamed at us if we miss another formal dinner.” Saber tugged on her friends sleeve. “Yeah...but...” her blue eyes drifted to the tree tops, a thick rain still soaking each one drastically. “I...want to find them...so badly...” “You will.” Jesse’s reassuring hand grasped onto hers. All three girls started to walk into a more dense part of the forest towards the castle. Pika ZAP was sleeping soundly.
