Back at Vinson’s “Okay....I hurt...!” India rolled over on her side and blinked twice listening to Saber complain. Her legs pulled at every nerve, her arms were screaming with pain as well, she was incredibly sore. “Yeah...I hurt too...” Jesse tried to get up, but quite didn’t make it. She sat down and breathed somewhat heavily from all the pain. India pulled herself up against her will and scratched her head, then started to stretch, despite all the pain. Saber soon followed her example, and soon all of them were stretching, to get the soreness out of their muscles. “You took a bad fall...” Vinson stopped at the bottom of the stairs with a small smile. He had a plate of food with him, setting it down, Jesse and Saber jumped at it almost viciously. India sat down and started to stretch some more she sighed and twitched her ears, noticing a slight difference as she looked down at her hands. Her fingers were becoming tan...? “Jess...do you see any difference...?” India looked towards her friend. Her friend looked down and checked herself. “Yes!” they both yelled at the same time. “Shorter tails...and tan fingers.” Saber half grinned. “Yay!” Jesse smiled. India shrugged, feeling more attracted to a place of solitude right now. She sat in a corner with a small window showing fish swimming around in the water that was above them. Vinson sat down on the stairs, his blonde hair slightly messed up from the early morning, and dressed in his white wardrobe. He studied all three of the girls curiously. India sat there, tiredly, watching the water and looking for a friendly form to come and sweep her up and away. “Wait....how did you know we fell...?” Saber swallowed a mouthful of food. “Well...” he looked at Saber and blushed slightly. “I followed you up Silver Mountain. I can’t believe you actually thought you could take on Blade all by yourselves.” “Do you know about Blade...?” India’s voice projected from the back corner. “Yes...” he continued. “Blade was a small child, born by a monster. That monster was the queen of the dark sides, otherwise called the shadow islands. Darkness type pokemon were born there, but now after her death they had found peace in the other worlds.” “So...what happened to her...?” she bit into another piece of food. “Seikiyou, his mother, abandoned him, because she hated him upon his birth, she shunned him away and sent him to die, but he was found by people who cared. Basically, when all the anthros rebelled and destroyed her in one outrageous battle, Blade went to his mothers side. All the hatred for the people she had, sunk into his heart and turned it black...now...he’s completely consumed by evil.” “How sad...” Saber sighed. “Come on...” India thought to herself. “Please...Xirruce....awaken....please! We need your prowess to help us....” *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- A bright light flashed in the orange-yellows mews mind. She opened her black eyes, rubbed a paw over her purple scar, and swished her diamond shaped tail with the purple surrounding it like a right angle. She pulled, getting jerked back down, then pulled again freeing herself from the invisible bond in the temple. She floated and joined her two friends, all three nuzzling in joyous reunion. Xirruce had awakened the third. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Golden light surrounded all three of the girls as they sat, the fur on each of their arms receding to the wristline. India’s transformation went further, all the way to her elbows. “What the hell is going on!?” Jesse yelped. “Don’t worry you two...everything is fine...” India grabbed a black cloak, wrapped it around herself and went up the stairs, leaving the small palace for perhaps the last time.
