Storm's Eye

A new life, new sorrow

A new day dawns upon northern Noo'Rahd, and Joon of the Moon-Dreamers was just about to go to sleep on the cold, snowy continent.

Not far away from the Moon-Dreamers grounds, the Star-Gazers dwell...

Xeni and Zaz of the Star-Gazers are tired as well.

A sharp light sweeps the lands... but it's not the morning sun...

Enormous bolts of energy shoot across the skies, striking at random inhabitants of Noo'Rahd, making them vanish into thin air.

Joon, Xeni and Zaz were of those who fell victim of the mysterious bolts.

In a flash they are on Tellus, in a Sky-Tech research-facility in Norway.

With burnt fur and great memory-loss they are retrieved from the “landing-platform” and carried into the restoration-center for further processing.

The three “animals” are the first of their kind to be placed in the restoration tanks, making them ideal research-subjects.

Special masks are placed on their muzzle, giving them air in the tanks of gel.

Blood-samples, tissue-samples and hair samples are collected, and various injections are given spinally to the singed and bruised trio.

More Noo'Rahdians arrive the following days, but are rehabilitated on the hour... Joon, Xeni and Zaz have been submerged for almost a week.

The scientists have planted wings and gills on Joon, and given him the project-name “Jade Falcon Storm”.

Zaz is being pumped with steroids, his fur has changed from red to white, and his eyes black as jett. Also, his hair turned blue, and thereof the scientists and bio-engineers calls him “Snowen”.

Xeni was not altered in any other way than improved muscle mass. Other than that, as of her being female, the scientists tested the reproductive abilities of her egg cells and extracted some for research and cloning.

5 days had passed since the 3 had arrived... Xeni was taken out of her tank for further “improvement”, but a German group called “Free Fur” had other plans for the Noo'Rahdians. 2 FF's had penetrated the facility disguised as engineers, they grabbed Xeni right after she was extracted from her container.

An outside FF had jammed the alarm-system. Xeni was carried outside, and that was when a human guard spotted them... The FF carrying Xeni had plasma-bursts on his tail, the other one was not that lucky...

Xeni was brought under ground, where Sky-Tech didn't bother to go.

There she learned what Sky-Tech hadn't taught her yet.

Day 6 since the arrival... Zaz, or Snowen, is extracted and sent to a special training area as of him being super-human.

On the same day, Joon, or “Falcon” as everyone calls him, is given a series of injections which should improve his brain-capacity, and would prove fatal... for Sky-Tech's plans for Falcon.

Day 7... Falcon is extracted from his tank, but unlike the others he was able to get on his own feet the very second the mechanic claw drops him.

Falcon rips off his breathing apparatus, seeming mysteriously well oriented in his surroundings. He walks up to a scientist and takes a firm grip on his head.

Both of their eyes turn to a flaming blue, and the scientist starts shaking spastically. Falcon let's go of the scientist, let's him drop and starts running like hell! He runs out of the lab and into a hallway of endless doors, and several guards in visions range. The dripping wolf-man pauses… his hands glows of an eerie purple. He spreads his wings and RUNS! Runs like nothing could stop him.

The guards see him, a glowing wolf-man heading straight toward them.

They flip giant plasma-rifles off their backs and start pumping massive barrages of destructive energy.

Falcon takes round upon round, bleeding from burnt holes on his chest, but not showing signs of pain as he charges at an inhuman pace.

He rips great chunks of the guards bodies with claws consisting of energy.

He takes a sharp turn, kicks off from a wall and smashes a steel door with his shoulder, barging into a lab filled with scientists.

Falcon pounces over the masses and onto a small metallic sphere with handles.

Time and space seems to just stop as a bright light shines across the despaired faces of scientists, and Falcon is grasping the sphere firmly.

In a flash of light, Jade Falcon Storm vanished into thin air.
