Paradox

God leans back His head and gazes down on Creation. Smiling happily to Himself, He nods. He is satisfied. It turned out just the way He wanted it. His world, His Creation. Then there is movement, and commotion. Someone screams. He turns His head, searching eyes scanning the shallow water. As He gets up to run, He stumbles over his sand castle, and a myriad beings scream and die. The predator rises from the surface of the water, and in a blink He is gone.

On the shore, a mother weeps, her tiny child no more with her, and she cries \x91O God, why did you do this?\x92 but there is no answer.
