Bethany is closest to her younger sister. She dislikes her elder brothers and her parents.
Bethany's closest friend is Maryssa.
Her tail is white on the topside, black underneath. She has white 'socks' and 'gloves' on her left hand and right foot, but not on her other hand and foot. Her head is black bar white patches around her eyes.
Bethany Elsebeth Ryer was born the third of four children. She (and her younger sister) was somewhat left out of things by her parents, who showed favouritism to their two sons.
Bethany's teens were somewhat difficult, as her brothers were given a great deal more freedom than she was, which she resented. As she developed into a startlingly attractive young woman, and getting the interest of boys (and the odd girl), her parents became increasingly restrictive, making her more resentful.
When Bethany turned 18, she left home, sharing a flat with Maryssa as they went to the same college together. She found the freedom from her parents to be an enormous relief. Bethany completed courses in Psychology and Biology.
