*This is the base script to a comic I thought up for 'Lightning Man'.  It was part of issue 8.5, so go buy it!  The only words are the song lyrics.  The song is 'Just Go' by Staind.  I hope you enjoy...*


I'm kinda numb 
ItÕs so distorted 
You left me here with this damage that you've caused 
(LM is sitting in an alley, clutching a hurt arm as he slumps to the ground.  Next to him is a trash can and dirt/grime is all over the alley)

My tortured faces 
(Zoom in on his face as he winces in pain)

IÕve fucked up places 
In my memories none of them I've lost, but... 
(he closaes his eyes and remembers the battle he got hurt in)


I haven't been here long enough to know 
Everytime I feel this I just lose control 
Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful 
I wish that this would just go, go. 
(The lyrics above are drawn in along the bottom of the panel.  In the first panel, LM sees robbers leave a bank.  Panel two zooms on the criminals leaping into a car which morphs into them squeeling away.  Next panel shows a child in the crosswalk.  The mext panes is a side one (See diagram below)

It's kinda sick
(LM leaps towards the car with rage in his eyes) 
I feel so dirty 
(lands on the car as debris flies up at him)
I'm kinda tragic kinda insecure 
(grips the car roof as he smashes at the windshield)
But I know that I'm the only 
One that can fix whatever's wrong I'm sure, but... 
(in two panels, he swings up to a handstand, then swings dawn thru the windshild)

I haven't been here long enough to know 
(smashes thru the driver's skull as he comes in)
Everytime I feel this I just lose control 
(grabs the other criminal's head)
Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful 
(snaps the criminal's neck)
I wish that this would just go, go. 
(shows the car spiining out of control as it crosses a bridge)

I feel so alone 
(the car flies over the bridge's edge)
From all I've become 
I'll take you down
(struggles to get out of the car before it hits the river below) 
I'll feel so down 
(The car splashes into the water)
I'm water while you drown 
(clims thru the broken windshild)
You're lifted while I'm down 
(breaks the surface of the water)
I'm cancer in your womb 
I'm the needle in your spoon, but... 
(starts swimming thru the water and finishes on the bank in the next 2-3 panels.  Your choice)
I haven't been here long enough to know 
(stumbles into alley we opened in and slides down)
Everytime I feel this I just lose control
(The little miget helper god/whatever it is appears...)

(he lays a hand on LM's shoulder)
I wish that this would just go... 
(looks up and yells at the sky)
go...
