Dream a little dream for me,

For even the smallest dream has more depth than reality's span

Sing a little song for me,

For time and honor incarnate are both close at hand

Although we can smile and laugh on the outside, show thunder

Play and cope with others, false faces of wonder...

Does that reveal our heart's true self?

Hurt and pain run deep within, guilt and loneliness are keen

What did we do wrong? Nothing, it purely seems...

Maybe our experiences and dreams can offer help.

So I shall fly a little flight for you,

Try to give back what you lost and cannot find...

Understanding more about just how you feel

Reality shall not overcome your little dream

Soon your reverie... shall be mine

Making those outside smiles and laughs a little more real.
