Hi, IÕm avelacuna, pronounced "ah'-veh-la-kyoo'-na". The short form of this name is ÒaveÓ and NOT ÒavelaÓ as is often believed. 

My therianside is a golden jackal/Siberian husky hybrid by the name of Verveine, I am female, I adore industrial music, and I love birds. ThatÕs all you really need to know about me.

If you would like to use my art or characters for anything  at all, please ASK first. In most cases I will agree to your usage. Please note that IÕm rather choleric and I will NOT be happy if I see my images or characters anywhere without my direct permission. Gift art is a different story... in that case it will make me quite happy. Just make sure to email it to me. Saving my images to your computer and/or printing them for your own personal use is perfectly acceptable. You may NOT reupload them to your gallery and call them your own, you may NOT make a profit from them, et hoc genus omne... all of this section should go unsaid, but there are certainly a bunch of miscreants out there with no regards toward intellectual property.

Please email me if you see anyone using my art or pretending to be me anywhere. This has occurred in the past, and I thank those who alerted me to it.
If you see someone using the handle "avelacuna" and it isn't me, it is not necessary to tell me; if they are using the handle AND posting my artwork/ claiming ownership of my characters, etc, do let me know.
If you're in doubt over whether a work was stolen or not or if a user of a site is me, do feel free to ask.

Requests : No. 
	Exceptions may be made for ideas I feel are worth pursuing, but generally, I prefer coming up with my own subject matter. Please don't email me saying "hi can u draw my werewolf char shes orange n pink and looks kinda like vervain ok thx bai ^____^." Such solicitation will only make me angry.

Art Trades : Yes
	If you approach me with a trade, my acceptance will be determined by how much academic work I have, how many collaborations or existing trades I have in effect, and any and all other work or mood-related variables. However, if I decline, it does NOT necessarily mean that I don't want to do a trade with you. I'll likely make an effort to get back to you when I'm free.  There's also the chance that I'll approach you!
