PRICE LISTING: SINGLE PAGE ILLUSTRATION

The following prices are for single page illustrations of no more than two characters. Additional characters and/or other complexities will be charged an additional service fee. The cartoonist reserves the right to reject any commission based on content and/or characters whose copyrights are owned by others under the Copyright Act of 1976 as amended (ex: characters owned by Disney, Warner Brothers, 20th Cent. Fox, MGM/UA, etc.) Personal "on-line" characters whose copyrights are owned by the client are acceptable (ex: FurryMUCK, etc.) Time of execution may vary depending on workload. All work is done on bristol board unless otherwise stated.

Terms and Conditions:

1. “Artist” refers to the one responsible for the execution of the artwork. (Eamon K. Goya, AKA: Me). “Client” refers to the one hiring the Artist.

2. "Commission" means the original artwork. Additional prints can be made upon request (+$5.00/print). A jpeg “proof” will be sent upon completion for approval.  

2a. “Trade” means the Artist will do a picture in exchange for a picture done by the Client/artist. The exchange will be done via jpeg format. No Charge.

2b. “Gift Pic” means that the Artist will do a picture free of charge as a token of gratitude to a particular individual. That picture will be in jpeg format unless otherwise.

2c. “Request” means that an idea has been given to the artist, of which he may or may not commit to paper. This does NOT count as a “Gift”, “Trade” or “Commission.”

3. Copyright notices: all characters are copyrighted by their respective owners unless "**(c)date, EK Goya." Ownership of artwork belongs to client upon payment for personal use only (including use for PERSONAL webpages). Commercial ("Free" or "Pay" sites, or other form of publication) use is strictly prohibited without written permission and must include "artwork by EK Goya." 

4. The Artist reserves the right to sell the artwork if payment is not made, unless said artwork contains characters copyright by the Client, or else notified by the Client. If that being the case, or if the order has been canceled, the artwork will be held indefinitely. (See “Helpful Hunts” #8-8a.)


Helpful hints:

1. Provide a description of the theme/scene and character(s) involved. Include as much detail as possible. It doesn't need to be a novel, just a brief paragraph or two will suffice. I can't read minds you know.

2. Please provide a brief, but detailed description of the character(s) and reference pictures if possible for personal characters as reference.

2a. If you plan to use another persons’ character(s), make sure you also have their consent prior to ordering.

3. As stated above, I will not do commissions featuring Tiny Toons, Road Rovers, etc. Sorry fanboys. Also, NO KP!!! (that’s kiddie-porn.)

4. Can't think of anything?  What's your favorite animal, or what kind of animal would you be? Like mythology?  Whatevas?

5. If I ask for details, please reply in a timely manner (within 48 hours). If you don't, I'll assume that you're not serious about a commission, that you're just yanking my tail, and any inquiry therefore will be dismissed.

6. If no size or medium is mentioned, the default size and medium will be 9”x12” color since it is the most common.

7. Payment should be made in exact amount upon billing. Overpayment will result in change. Unless I ask otherwise, try not to pay me in advance.

8. Please pay me within a reasonable amount of time (1-2 months). I will not ship anything without being paid first. (Mainly because I need to know where to send it.) Failure to pay means no artwork sent. (See “Terms and Conditions” #4)

8a. If you are unable to pay within the specified time, please notify me immediately. (See “Terms and Conditions” #4)

8b. Here’s a good spending tip: Make sure you have the money to spend before ordering a commission.

9. Electronic payment (Paypal, direct deposit, credit card, etc.) will not be accepted at this time.

10. E-mail inquaries: Be careful about what you type in the subject line. If it looks like spam, it will be deleted or filtered out. (eg. “Hi, hello, etc.”)
“Your art[work]”, “Commission” will suffice.

11. Availability of prints: Prints of a specific image may or may not be available depending on whether or not I can find the original. Older pictures may be harder to find.

12. FurAffinity users: FA members who have received a commission from me are automatically given my permission to post their pictures on their pages.
