FAQ-Frequently Asked Questions for Jessica Ross

1)Who are you?
  I'm Jessica Ross. I'm semiautistic, kind of nerdy, mixed up in the
  head. I much calculus for breakfast and have a leisurely physics
  afternoon snack. I'm not an artist; I'm an engineer.

2)Why Ethanketernan?
  I am Ethan. The character Ethan comes from a planet called Ketern.
  She happens to be female, so she gets this suffix -an on her name.
  Thus Ethan ketern an (Ethan ketern female). Hard to remember, hard
  to spell, but oh well.


3)What is this stuff in?
  I usually put down in the description what mediums I used, but
  I usually use Prismacolor marker, colored pencil, and inks. I paint
  sometimes and I occasionally use pastels (chalk), but I *really* 
  don't like how they come out.

4)What's this "Words" thing?
  I'm frustrated right now and kind of in an art slump. I'm
  considering sublimating back into the shadows where I belong
  instead of trying to make money off my art. ha ha ha.
  
  Words is a "steam blower offer". I do UIL Spelling and I'm
  trying to illustrate some of the vocabulary. It's very interesting.


5)Do you draw humans?
  Yes; not very well.

6)Do you take requests?
  Not usually. I get bombarded with those. I will if you're
  a)my friend or b)have a really interesting request like "I
  want a cthuloid bat creature from Hades carrying a 7 foot pickle."

7)Do you take commissions?
  YES! GIVE ME MONEY; I WORK CHEAP!

  Anyway...sure. I have a queue, but I can get it done fairly quickly.
  There is a pay scale:
  
  Per One Character--8.5x11" Cardstock 
  ___________________  
   $5- graphite sketch
   $10-graphite finished drawing or b&w inkwork
   $20- Colored pencil or marker

  Add:
    $3 extra per character
    $3 for size upgrade (to 9x12", 11"x14", and beyond)
    $15 for CG, with original and print (It takes a long time)

   That's about it. I work rather cheaply and even cheaper when you
   bid on my commission auctions. On Furbid I am Ethanketernan; look
   me up. I don't offer them often, so...good luck.

8) Do I do art trades?
  Yes.

9)Who is June?
  I'm not very socially exceptable so I roleplay June, who is much
  more normal than I am. June is a green fox.
