Raff's Commission Information Updated August 2009 I'm opening up the olde dusty art box. Now that I'm settled beyond the trials and tribulations of Doctor Skool, I'm ready to dust off ye olde ArtBin and get to drawing some stuff! I do like to do benign, happy G-rated art, character profiles and the such, but I may be tempted to do otherwise, so long as you agree not to publish it all over the place or connect such... sensitive... pieces to me. I specialize in carnivores, muscly things, and a sorta 'jagged' yet controlled art style. ________________________________________________________________________ I CAN ONLY SEND PHYSICAL PIECES WITHIN THE U.S.A. Watercolor Pencil on Bristol Board or Watercolor Paper: Simple character(s) on either a plain white background or very simple background. Variety of poses, though certain poses will cost more, and complexity of character will increase the rate. Shipment via USPS Priority, which is extra per buyer location. Prismacolor Pencil on Bristol Board: I'm a bit rusty with these, but this is constrained ONLY to a white background and a simple character. As above, complexity increases fee, character(s) posing will also affect the pricing. Shipment via USPS Priority, which is extra per buyer location. Digital Artwork: My most flexible commission style, since it's the most efficient. All pieces are done on Adobe Photoshop, either via tablet or colored pen + ink outline. The commissioner DOES NOT receive an original or a print, as I do not have a print-quality printer. But, they do receive a high-resolution .JPG of almost any situation to their e-mail address. I prefer to work in this media. Simple Pencil Sketch - what it says. Pencil on bristol or sketch paper. My preferred mailing type is US Post Office PRIORITY MAIL + cardboard / support backing, which is 6.00 anywhere in the U.S. ________________________________________________________________________ In each case, the new owner may display the work, although with sensitive pieces (yiffy) I would just request it not go very public. Distribution rights and reproduction rights are NOT included, so unless otherwise specified, no prints and reselling. For digital artwork, you can post it on personal websites. If you're planning on using it for corporate reasons, please tell me BEFORE you verify the commission. After all is said and done, I will talk to you one-on-one about payment methods. I don't like to take personal checks, but I have alternatives to get payment to me, so don't fret if that's what you were thinking of doing! ________________________________________________________________________ Thanks much, and take care.
