Ren's All About Me Page! If you are here, you must want to read this. Why? I don't know, but I find myself reading these things too. Short Background: I'm 29 as of this writing (until January, when I turn 30), happily divorced and with a wonderful love mate. No kids, 1 cat. I graduated from a graphic arts tech program in 2003 (associate degree) to first become a proofreader for a small printing company, next, a pre-press assistant for a local map publisher, and now a graphc artist for a weekly newspaper. In my dream world, I am well-paid. Artistic background: My family is largely artistically inclined, so I was surrounded by art and encouraged a lot as I grew up. My favored media are pencil or ink on paper (if you didn't already guess). I enjoy painting in acrylics, but I'm not as good at that. When I do use acrylics, I like to paint on large canvases (another reason I don't utilize that medium a whole lot - pricey! But I stretch my own, it's more fun). I've recently begun using marker, and I've been known to work in watercolor or colored pencil occasionally. PhotoShop is also much more fun now that I'm proficient with it! I love PhotoShop and Illustrator! Subject matter? Yeah, I do seem to enjoy porn too much. I say no more there. Real life seems too boring, too stressful, so I focus more on fantasy, particularly furry fantasy. Do I have limits? Yeah, they just get blurred sometimes. Copyright issues: I don't mind if (for some reason) you wish to download my pics for personal use. (wallpaper, personal files, web page pic) I ask only that you leave copyright info attached, or if there is none, make sure the signature is visible. If you want a version that does not have the copyright info plastered across it (it'll be on there someplace though) ask me nicely! Just email: Ren_Krause@yahoo.com. If I have a cleaner version available, you can almost certainly receive one. And, please, if it's gonna be on a web page, let me know so my head may expand with pride! (besides, artists get real testy if they aren't informed of such things) ^-^ Commissions / Trades: I do not often accept commissions, mainly due to time constraints. Thankfully, I am no longer working 2 jobs, 50-60 hours a week. (Yeah, yeah, many of you are working more than that, and I salute you!) However, I still have a household to maintain and shortly, I'll be attending classes to earn my bachelor's degree. The bottom line? If you really really want to commission a piece from me, expect it to take awhile. Keep in mind I may decline if it's something I feel is (a) beyond my skill level, (b) does not interest me at the time (better I decline than you get a crappy commish piece), (c) I am simply too swamped at the moment, (d) I really just don't feel comfortable with the subject matter, or (e) I just don't wanna.. Well, that's it in a nutshell ^-^ Hope you have enjoyed the show!
