The same sensation of drifting.. the same feeling of unreality. She knew it could never become familiar to her, it would be strange regardless of how many times she was forced to experience it. Her sight returned.. Odd that even in an identical corporeal form, a body that wasn't truly hers, she still felt her fur clinging to her face from the tears she had shed moments earlier. The nothingness eased into blackness, and a globe of light grew before her. It was not the same light, not the white. It was a different entity that was before her. This entity was a dark, blood colored red, although it shone with the same intensity and majesty that was present in the One. As before, she waited for her turn to speak. And as before, the entity pulsated.. slowly, but gradually quickening. The hum was deeper than the one she remembered. Again, it rose in pitch as the pulsating sped to a flicker. The entity was about to speak. "You, Sharanahiteyep, are to become part of the apocalypse as you've consented to earlier this very day. The part you will play will be to know the true name of The Evil. You will either use the name or wait for the other who will learn the true name of The One. If you choose to use the name you are to learn, then The One, who sees all that happens on your Earth, will hear and will learn the name of The Evil. He will gain complete superiority.. There will be the Holy apocalypse, all good will reign, and evil will be abolished. However, if you do choose to say the name, you will become one with the evil for eternity, for it already knows all true names, even your own.." The weight of the world was placed on her shoulders that moment. How could she be asked to make such a sacrifice as to allow her soul to join with the one commonly known as Satan? She wanted to tell this thing not to go on, to beg it not to tell her the name. She knew she already consented though, even though she had no choice but to do so. It was so unfair. She was told the accursed name the next instant. If only she could simply forget it.. She couldn't though, she accepted her fate. Even if the world did fall into the black apocalypse, the eternal damnation, she was determined never to say that name. As commands issued on a Sidallows true name work, the first to give one had prioty over another person contradicting it by the same means. Once a command is stated it can never be repealed by another, even another that knows that persons true name. The unnamed entity knew this, and used it wisely. "You will not be forced to say the name of The Evil. Even if your name is known by another, it must be done by your own will." Shike waited.. The entity lay motionless. Why wasn't it moving? What was it waiting for.. ? "Oh yeah," she thought, "I must ask a question." The red feline, now the chosen one, didn't care about which entity she was speaking to this time. There was only one question she wished to ask. "Who is the other, the one who will know the name of The One?" "The one you love the most.." And the entity was gone. She had not an instant to ponder what had occurred. An unknown entity had told her what could only be used to decide the fate of millions of people. But they were millions of faceless people to her. She couldn't bring herself to feel pity for them. She swore silently to herself that she would never use that name. The blackness around her had become absolute, and soon she could see not even the blackness... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * She awoke with that bizarre feeling of reality being something it shouldn't, just as she was feeling as she entered into the previous vision. It cleared shortly, as it did the first time. She would have done anything to forget about what just happened then, and she knew just what she needed to help her to do so: Jiz! There were mere minutes of the hour she was given until the school day ended. The soft kitty hurried off in hopes of meeting her beloved before the halls were swamped by students. No such luck, she found herself pushing against the flow of person after person all trying to leave ahead of the rest. Still, she kept fighting the losing battle. It wasn't until she was almost through the worst of it that she decided he must have gone by, for she didn't see him anywhere. She was just about to turn around and head back when she felt two furry arms wrap around her waist from behind in a deep hug. She smiled warmly and happily, saying softly "Jiz.." Came the familiar voice: "Yup! So how'se my red hot pussy?" The 'red hot pussy' giggled and answered "Better I suppose, now that you're here. But don't ask me about the vision, I'd rather not talk about it." "Ch! I waited an hour to ask! What a disappointment.. Ah well, your place or mine?" Her mood was definitely lightening by the minute, the guy worked wonders. That's one of the reasons she loved him so much. Still, the thoughts of what happened in the last hour nagged at her mind, along with something she couldn't identify, a subtle unease. It would be best for her mental health to forget about all that, she decided. She looked back at his grey face and winked slyly. She wanted him, but would never say so directly. "Home is where the heart is, take me there." He smiled and escorted her to his car. He was a feline, just like Shike, not that either of them were racist. They simply fell for a member of their own species. He stood only an inch taller than his woman, but was much broader, as males are. He was almost completely a uniform shade of grey, except for his chest and stomach, which were white. The white patch on him started just below neck level, and was almost shoulder width wide, but slimmed as it trailed downwards. Shike sometimes joked that it looked just like an upside down egg. It ended just above his genitals, although only he and Shike knew the exact spot. There was nothing wrong with sex between unmarried couples in their religion, since there was never a thing called divorce. Once true names are exchanged, Sidallows are to stay together for life, no matter what. He was of the same religion, and they mutually chose not to exchange names at that point. They felt they were too young to cope with something like that. Their careless bantering continued throughout the car ride to the females apartment. She periodically slipped a wink or seductive smile, but he didn't pick up on things like that. Maybe he was watching the road too closely, but she doubted it. Sometimes she wondered if it was just an act, and he was ignoring her hints just to tease her. "No, he's definitely just slow," she thought. Strange though, she found most males to home in on suggestive behavior like they had some kind of sixth sense for it. They often picked up on it even when she sent no such signal, which annoyed (and disgusted) her even more than the ignorance, even naivety, in Jiz. Still, she couldn't teach him out of it... lord knows she's tried. Needless to say, Shike was rather frustrated when they arrived at their destination. She decided to go all out. As her love exited the car she ran over immediately to hug him. She thought that maybe if she spoke just a bit more seductivly, or with just a slightly deeper pitch.. "You know honey, I think I need something more to get my mind off things." "You want to go see a movie?" came the even more frustrating reply. "Or maybe if I just stripped here on the sidewalk.." she thought to herself "Not that there's anything wrong with that, I only need to wear clothes around school. I wouldn't really do it though.. I'm decent. Not like Lara.." "No Jiz... Just come inside with me," she spoke, rather impatiently. "He /cannot/ be serious, it must be a joke of his" she thought. They were halfway to the main doors when she realized the grave mistake she had made. "Actually! Um.. I think I need more time to think things over, I'd like some time alone okie? I'll call you later, I promise, bye!" She turned and walked away, leaving Jiz to part, utterly confused and without even bothering to answer. She was lying through her teeth, the only thing that was likely to occupy her mind was cleaning her appartement. She hadn't bothered to do so for a good couple of weeks, and she wasn't exactly a neat liver. The apartment had scattered clothing, magazines, even food where it shouldn't be. It was vaguely like something seen in sitcoms. As she cleaned she felt that uneasiness. Her sub-conscious wanted her to know something, but she was sure she'd rather be in ignorance, for it is bliss. She could only ignore it. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
