the Geistkatze: Character Profile and "History" Age: The easiest guess is around 29-32 years old at his death. Sex : Male Location: Born in Germany, raised and died in England. Height: 5'9'' Weight: Lithe and feminine at 168, but technically 0. Orientation: Pansexual - Asexual Appearance: Geist has two standard appearances. The first is the closest to a physical form, in which he can be touched and heard clearly. A rust-red tabby with blood colored stripes, the pattern swirled and manipulated into an unusual and unearthly design. Whiskers and tail are both unnaturally spiraled towards his body, and seem to always appear in threes. He often appears as more of a work of art, a painting rather than a being, given his love for unusual art during his lifetime. The second is a black coat with reddish orange markings just faintly visible. This form is usually translucent, smoky, and can be maniputed to include antlers, wings, or whatever else he fancies to have at the moment. Constant always in his appearance are the strikingly green eyes. This is guessed to be his in-life eye color, and is the only clue available as to what he may have looked like in life at all, as no picture has been found. He often appears as an anthropomorphic being, not being able to discern his human appearance from his animal disguise. In this he retains his wardrobe of mid Victorian fashion, sometimes rags and sometimes riches. On rare occasion he sports chin-length dark hair and more human-like hands. History: Unaware of most of his living history, including his given name , he only has fragments of information given to him in "dreams", periods of time he is forced to become part of a more spiritual plane of existence. He knows of his home, his art, and an extensive knowledge that hints at a possible medical career. He remembers his lover also, although in scrambled messages that cause him to both long for and fear his partner. He remembers how he died, and has an aversion to mirrors and certain chemicals. Eighty-five years after his death, he "awoke" in a modern world, confused, afraid, and without a physical form. He spent the next 23 years as a child, relearning and readjusting to the drastic changes to what he had always known. He has lived in cities and in the country, struggling to remember pieces of the puzzle of who he really was, and why he is still here. He is in love with the paranormal and the occult, looking always for lost souls like himself, and bitterly disappointed in what results he usually finds. He spends his days in museums, libraries, at concerts and schools, trying to absorb as much of the living's world as possible. Dreadfully lonely at first, he often attempted to make himself known to someone who he becomes attached to. Constant rejection , however, has caused him to become quite reserved and sometimes sharp-tongued.
