Leah suddenly stopped, Why was she running away? She could fight back if she wanted and if she didn't she would be forever hiding. Turning quickly, she retraced her steps, then hid in the bushes. When she saw Rarin walk past she crept up behind him and slipped the dagger from his belt. "I'm here" she said bluntly. Rarin jumped, he didn't expect her to come up to him, "W..w..what?" he stuttered. Leah getting angry pushed him hard making him fall to the ground, "WHAT?" she shouted at him, "You tried to kill me, you think I'll just forget about that? you think I'll forget how you said you'd always love me and then you led me into the catacombs, just using the trust I had in you as a bait? NO!". Then grabbing the dagger she held it to his throat and said in a whispery voice, "One wrong move and you're dead". Rarin gulped as she took some rope and tied his wrists tightly. "I'm going to get revenge, I'm going to show you exactly how I felt back in them catacombs, except you won't get away" she carried on in the whispery voice. "You won't get away with it" he muttered, "Oh! Won't I?" she said mocking him, "Who'll find out?" she asked leaving him speechless "No-one ever comes this deep into the forest, they get lost way before they get here...". Gagging him then marching him towards the lake behind the bushes, she brought the dagger up, then feeling nauseous she debated whether to bring the dagger down or to let him go. She didn't want to kill him, she'd never killed anything before but if she didn't she be constantly in fear and she couldn't forgive Rarin for trying to kill her. Rarin started to struggle, Leah felt him struggling and panicked, what if he got away, what if..., then coming to her senses she looked away as the knife plunged into his back making Rarin stagger forward and fall into the river. "Oh my..." she said stunned, "I killed him". Leah didn't know what to think, she'd just killed her now ex-boyfriend, now she was relieved that he couldn't come after her anymore but scared in case anyone found out...telling herself it was ok, she made her way out not hearing the russle in the bushes or seeing the dark shadow slip away.
